Kapu Ramachandra Reddy Likely To Take Congress Route?

The fortune of the Andhra Pradesh wing of Congress changed at once with the entry of YS Sharmila. If everything goes well the party would see a first MLA in the fold in the form of Mangalagiri MLA Alla Ramakrishna Reddy. He said that he would walk with YS Sharmila.

The change in fortune of the grand old party started a debate on whether the leaders who were not happy with their respective parties. Now another name joined the list with an MLA meeting a senior Congress leader.

It is known that a few days back, Rayadurgam MLA Kapu Ramachandra Reddy announced his resignation from the YSRCP. Not happy with not getting the party ticket for the upcoming elections he quit the party. He submitted his resignation to the leadership and the party is yet to take a call on this.

Now a big debate is going on about whether he would join Congress in the wake of his meeting with a senior leader. He met him with his family which started the big debate. This started an opinion on whether Kapu would take the Congress route.

Rayadurgam MLA Kapu Ramachandra Reddy surprised everyone by meeting Congress Working Committee (CWC) member N. Raghuveera Reddy. The MLA met the former Congress chief along with his family formally and posed for a picture.

While the exact reason behind the meeting is not known many say that the MLA met Raghuveera Reddy to hold talks about his joining in the party and seeking a ticket. We might hear an official word on this soon.

Kapu Ramachandra Reddy reportedly wants his son also try his luck in politics. As he was not given a ticket he is looking at other parties as per the reports. Congress party might have appeared the right choice to him and he is in talks with it. If everything goes well we might see Kapu Ramachandra Reddy and his son getting tickets to contest in the upcoming elections. Let us wait for the official confirmation.
