Kavitha Might Not Get Bail Anytime Soon?

Is BRS MLC Kavitha in the middle of troubles? Is she struck in neck deep in troubles? Will she have to face the tough time for a longer time? Will the former MP get bail in the case any time soon? These are the questions many have looking at the ongoing developments.

It is known that Enforcement Directorate officials arrested Kavitha in the Delhi Liquor scam earlier last month. She was taken to Delhi and the Court sent her to remand. A team of officials landed in Hyderabad and searched her residence and took her to Delhi.

As if that is not enough the CBI also stepped in. Kavitha faced the second arrest with the CBI’s actions. A few days after questioning her by seeking the court’s persimmon, the Central Bureau of Investigation arrested her. Despite her arrest, she is in Tihar Jail only.

Very rarely we see more than one arrest in the case. But things are different here. After ED took her into custody, CBI also arrested her. Kavitha now has two arrests to fight for in the court of law.

On one hand, she is facing arrests and on the other hand, she is not getting relief in court. Her bail petitions were being dismissed. When she sought an interim bail saying that her son has exams, the ED opposed this saying that she might influence the witnesses. With this, she was denied bail.

Earlier she knocked on the doors of the Supreme Court seeking a bail. But the Court said now and directed her to go to the lower court. With this, she moved the lower court to see only her petition getting rejected.

It is said that the CBI wants to take her into custody in the case and filed a petition. The court reportedly reserved the verdict on this and the verdict is likely to be announced soon.

On the other hand, the media reports are abuzz that the Income Tax department might also step in for the probe in the case. ED and CBI are in action in the case already. While ED has been dealing with the case for some time, CBI gave a new twist. Now this might be the time for the Income Tax department’s entry.

We have seen a few Ministers of AAP spending time in jail in the case already. Now three agencies might go after Kavitha in the case with reports talking about IT’s possible entry.

Looking at this many wonder if Kavitha won't get relief in the case anytime soon. The Lok Sabha elections are around the corner and the parties are busy with the preparations. Amid this, the Delhi liquor scam case is seeing big developments.
