But after these speculations went trailer on social media, the family was apparently confused by the same, and they have no issued a clarification on this matter.

Former Union Minister Kavuri Sambasiva Rao is currently in critical condition, and his family has denied rumors about his death.

According to the latest reports, the veteran Andhra Pradesh politician suddenly fell seriously ill and was admitted to a hospital in Hyderabad. As his health condition deteriorated, several reports and social media posts began circulating claiming that he had passed away.

However, Kavuri Sambasiva Rao’s family members strongly refuted those reports. They clarified that he is still alive and is currently undergoing treatment on ventilator support. The family urged media outlets and the public not to spread unverified news regarding his health.

Kavuri Sambasiva Rao has had a long political career. He was elected to the Lok Sabha five times. He represented the Machilipatnam constituency in 1984, 1989 and 1998, and later won from Eluru in 2004 and 2009. During the UPA government, he served as the Union Minister for Textiles in 2013.

He began his political journey with the Congress party and remained an influential leader for decades. After the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh in 2014, he left the Congress and joined the Bharatiya Janata Party. In recent years, he had stayed away from active politics due to health issues.

At present, doctors are closely monitoring his condition, which remains critical. Meanwhile, the family continues to appeal to the public and media to rely only on official updates and avoid spreading false information about his demise.
