It is already known that one of the global leaders who had recently passed away, Ayotallah Khamenei had dis funeral procession in Iran today, and this was one of the main global events and recent times.

Coming to the Indian representation for this funeral procession, India was very generous with their support for the event.

An official Indian delegation has arrived in Tehran to represent India at the funeral ceremonies of Iran’s late Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei.

The delegation is led by Bihar Governor Lt Gen. Syed Ata Hasnain and Minister of State for External Affairs Pabitra Margherita.

Incidentally, Indian religious leaders from diverse faiths paid tribute to late Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei during state funeral ceremonies in Tehran.

The delegation, including Hindu, Sikh & Muslim clerics, received military honours and offered prayers amid Iranian flags. Video shared by Embassy of Iran in India highlights strong civilisational ties.

Coming back to 28 February, Khamenei was killed in a US-Israeli missile attack. Following months of delay due to the war, the funeral ceremonies will be held from 4–9 July across Tehran, Qom and Mashhad, with millions of mourners expected to participate.
