Going into details stylish batsman KL Rahul took to social media to say that he has something to share with and asked people to stay tuned. “I have an announcement to make, stay tuned,” his post reads.

Without any doubt, his post has broken the internet with people coming up with many theories and rumours concerning the post. Many say that the batsman might announce his retirement. A post on his name also went viral on social media which says that the player announced retirement.

However many say that there is no truth behind this and the player did not announce retirement and the post which says the same is also fake.

KL Rahul is just 32 years and this is not the correct age for retirement. The reason behind rumours of his retirement is that he is not getting chances in the team and he is unable to put up good performances in the matches.

KL Rahul was not selected for the T20 World Cup and in the recent Sri Lanka series too he did not have a good tournament. As the selectors are said to be looking for young talent keeping the future needs in mind reports started doing rounds that he is looking at retirement.

The next edition of the T20 World Cup will be held in 2026. Virat and Rohit will not be a part of the team as they retired. ICC events are coming in 2025 and the selectors are said to be shaping the team with the aim. So KL Rahul might not get a chance unless he proves himself in the Duleep Trophy is what experts say.

Adding fuel to this fake posts on his retirement are doing rounds. There is no truth in these posts.
