The Horrific incident of a female doctor from Kolkata is turning out to be a sensation. For the past few days, we have seen protests from doctors in various parts of the country. Doctors are fighting for a big cause and demanding strict action. A few Associations also stepped in to stand in solidarity with them.

Adding sensation to the issue a few rumours are doing rounds that around 150 milligrams of Semen was found in her body creating a space for the argument of possible gang-rape. It was also reported that the victim sustained a fracture.

In response, the Police Commissioner reacted and slammed the fake claims. The Commissioner said there is no truth in reports of '150 mg semen' and urged everyone to not believe such news.

Talking about the fracture claim, The Police said the Post mortem was performed in the presence of a Magistrate and the process was videographed. There was no mention of fracture.

The case was registered as an unnatural death which led to criticism. Reacting to this the Commissioner said that unnatural death is registered when no complaint is raised. Once the Postmortem report is out then it would be mentioned whether it is suicide or death based on the report.

On the other hand, the Cyber Crime DCP shared a post on social media on how to be aware of misinformation. The post says that victims should be respected and misinformation cannot be spread.

It is known that the case was transferred to the CBI from West Bengal Police. Expressing dissatisfaction over the probe, the Calcutta High Court transferred the case to CBI. The High Court said that there were a few lapses in the probe and asked the CBI to take over. Adding fuel to this a mob was indulged in vandalism.
