Kona Venkat Comes Forward To Help Geetanjali’s Family!

The death of a housewife in Andhra Pradesh came as a shock to one and all. Days after expressing happiness of getting a patta under a scheme she was found dead. There was also a blame game on the issue. Online trolling is said to have forced her to take the extreme decision.

Writer-producer Kona Venkat who is known for his helping nature had proved his helping nature yet again as he stood in support of the family. He met her family and consoled them. He became emotional seeing Geetanjali’s daughters. Kona Venkat handed over Rs 50,000 to help them.

Saying that he would look after them as his daughters, Kona Venkat offered the required help. He said that he would take care of any need they want in the future. I will come forward to offer any help, Kona Venkat said.

Kona Venkat met the family and spoke to Geetanjali’s daughters. He was visibly emotional speaking to them. Saying that he was moved learning what had happened he assured help to the family and the daughters.

Kona Venkat is a popular writer. He is also known for his helping nature and helped a few families already. Now he came forward to help Geentajali’s family. Not only that he also said that he will raise the two girls as his daughters and will help them in any possible way.

Geetanjali is said to have committed suicide and sustained injuries. She was admitted to a nearby hospital for treatment. She breathed her last while undergoing treatment. This created a big sensation as it is said that supporters of the two parties trolled her.

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy condemned the incident and announced Rs 20 lakh as ex-gratia to her family. He also said that there is a need to safeguard the women in the state.
