Former Telangana IT Minister and BRS President Kalvakuntla Taraka Ramarao (KTR) criticized the government of Telangana once again for the failure in handling the pre-release event of Devara. It is a known fact that the film's pre-release event that was supposed to take place on Sunday has been cancelled due to overcrowding and security issues. Now, KTR blames Revanth Reddy for the same.

"Telangana CM Revanth Reddy is not able to maintain the law and order in the state. When we were in power, we managed all the events, festivals and public gatherings without any hassle. But after Revanth Reddy took over as the chief minister, the government is unable to handle small events as well," said KTR at a press meet. Later KTR blamed that the government's incompetence has resulted in the cancellation of the pre-release event of Devara.

As a matter of fact, more than 20000 fans assembled at the venue to attend the pre-release event but the venue could be able to handle only 4000-5000 people. The organizers and the security teams tried their best to handle the event but could not manage the crowd.

Directed by Koratala Siva, the first part of Devara is releasing on the 27th of this month.
