The political landscape of Telangana is all set to witness a huge turbulence as the ACB has filed a case against KTR in connection with the Formula E scam that has been alleged against him.

The Anti-Corruption Bureau principally registered a First Information Report (FIR) against KTR, the former Minister and working president of BRS in connection with alleged financial irregularities during the Formula E race held in Hyderabad in February 2023.

KTR has been named as accused No. 1 (A-1) in the FIR. The case also implicates former Municipal Administration Department Special Chief Secretary Arvind Kumar, named as Accused No. 2 (A-2), and Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) Chief Engineer B.L.N. Reddy, listed as Accused No. 3 (A-3).

Shortly, after this news broke out, KTR interacted with the Media and he had a largely confident tone.

KTR commented that CM Revanth Reddy is desperate to arrest him this weekend and added that he is not fearing any sort of action from the Telangana government or the Police department. He openly stated that he did not commit any sort of financial irregularity with the formula E project.

Interestingly, enough, KTR commented that he is not even looking to seek bail in this case, as he is confident that he will come out legally unscathed because he has nothing to hide. Usually, when a case is filed against a politician, his first recourse is attempting bail, but KTR appears to be completely against it in this case.
