Shocking Murder In Hyderabad: 10th Class Student Is Suspect?

A shocking murder case in Hyderabad’s Kukatpally has been solved, bringing clarity to the tragic killing of 10-year-old Sahasra. On August 18, she was found dead in her home at Sangeet Nagar with multiple stab wounds.

The post-mortem revealed 21 injuries including 14 on her neck and throat, and seven on her stomach confirming that she died due to heavy blood loss. Initial suspicions suggested that the attacker was someone familiar, as there were no signs of forced entry or theft.

After an intense investigation, police arrested a 14-year-old boy from the neighboring building. The boy, a Class 10 student, admitted to the crime. According to police, he had entered the house to steal a cricket bat but was caught by Sahasra.

Fearing exposure, he panicked and attacked her brutally with a knife. Investigators recovered key evidence, including a diary where he had written about his plans under the title “Mission Don,” along with a letter describing his intentions. The boy is said to have been influenced by crime shows and online content.

The case, which shocked the city, has now been officially cracked. Police confirmed that the minor is in custody, and further legal proceedings will follow under juvenile law.
