The Lok Sabha Speaker post has been a sensation in the country for some time.

The Lok Sabha Speaker post has been a sensation in the country for some time. With the BJP falling short of the magic figure the alliance parties supported it. With this, there was an opinion that TDP and Janata Dal (United) were demanding the Speaker post. TDP was given the Speaker post when it supported the NDA earlier.

However, BJP held the speaker post with it and nominated Om Birla as the Speaker. Then came the twist with the INDIA alliance raising objections and nominating Kodikunnil Suresh as its candidate. For the first time in decades, there is going to be an election to elect the Speaker.

Usually, the Speaker election happens unanimously. But things are different now. With this, the focus went on to YCP in Andhra Pradesh to see what it would do.

YCP has been supporting the BJP in the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha in five years. Though YCP is not part of the NDA, the party supported the BJP whenever it was required.

The gap between the seats won by the NDA and INDIA alliance is very small. So the parties that are not part of any alliance can be the deciding factor. Now people are looking at YCP to see what the party can do. Will it support NDA or INDIA is the question now.

However, there is an opinion that Jagan might not support Congress as he left the party due to differences. There is a gap between the two parties. On the other hand, Sharmila is in Congress and she aggressively targeted him.

On the other hand, there is an opinion that Jagan might be neutral and stay away from voting so that he can't take any stand. We might get clarity on this soon as the election is slated for tomorrow.
