We are living in the social media era and even a small thing gets massive attention from the people. Social media is not just a mere messaging app and it can be a platform for the easy spread of news. Pictures of a Deputy Chief Minister sitting on the floor created a big sensation and led to a controversy.

Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, his deputy Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, and a few Cabinet Ministers visited the famous Yadadri temple. However, the Deputy Chief Minister sat on the floor while the CM and Ministers sat above him. These pictures were spread actively on social media.

The political parties in the state took a strong objection to this and alleged that Mallu was insulted by Revanth and the Ministers. Posts were made from the official accounts expressing concerns over this.

Now Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka responded to the issue finally and clarified the incident. He said that contrary to what is being projected he was not insulted and it was him who had opted to sit on a small stool and no one can disrespect him.

He went on to say that he is serving as the Deputy Chief Minister of the state and holds three portfolios. I am living with self-respect and no one can disrespect me, he said.

Talking about the issue the Deputy Chief Minister expressed his displeasure over social media posts and criticism without knowing what had happened.

Earlier the Congress party addressed the issue and said that the Deputy Chief Minister was not disrespected and the Congress party believes in the idea of respecting everyone and there is no truth in what is being reported.
