After coming to power, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy took many sensational decisions, and bringing the flagship Volunteer system is one of them. The Volunteer system came in handy during the Covid outbreak. However, Pawan Kalyan recently leveled sensational allegations against the Volunteers. The issue even reached the courts and notices were also served.

After Pawan Kalyan's allegations, everything the volunteers do is seen in a magnifying glass. On top of this, there is a strong criticism that Volunteers are working for the ruling party and their services are misused.

The opposition parties are highlighting this. Once, the High Court also expressed dissatisfaction with the Volunteer system and asked what is the purpose of the volunteers and what they do.

When such is the situation, a senior YSRCP Minister made some shocking comments that put the party in a tight spot and gave a weapon for the opposition to target the party and volunteers more.

Andhra Pradesh Revenue Minister Dharmana Prasada Rao met the Volunteers and reportedly made some crucial comments. The Cabinet Minister reportedly said that the Volunteers should work hard and bring the party to power again and they will get rewarded for this. He also asked the Volunteers to keep a tab on the polling trends.

What the Minister said adds fuel to the criticism and debate that the Volunteers are being used for the wrong means.

It is known that earlier Pawan Kalyan alleged data theft by the Volunteers in the state and the allegations increased the political heat. Now the Minister's comments add fuel to the criticism and many say that the Minister's comments are causing more damage.
