Yet again a Minister created a big sensation with his comments. Tamil Nadu Minister SS Sivasankar said that there is historical evidence for Lord Rama and we are manipulated on the history.
The Minister spoke highly about Rajendra Chola who built many ponds and temples during his tenure. He also said that there are scriptures to say that the Emperor had built the structures. Adding further he took a reference to Lord Rama.
The Cabinet Minister said that there is no historical evidence of Lord Rama as everyone is being manipulated on this. The Minister said that Lord Rama is an Avatar and an Avatar cannot born, he said.
Without any doubt, his comments created a big sensation in the country. The BJP lashed out at the Minister over his comments. Tamil Nadu BJP chief Annamalai asked why the DMK leaders have a sudden obsession with Lord Rama. He highlighted the comments made by two DMK ministers.
Annamalai said that recently Law Minister Thiru Raghupathy avl said that Bhagwan Shri Ram was the ultimate champion of social justice and now the Minister is saying there is no historical evidence of Lord Rama.
He also highlighted how the DMK leaders opposed setting up the Sengol in the Parliament House.
