Earlier in the day, the YSR Congress MP appeared in front of the SIT department for investigation in the liquor scam case that is alleged against him and he has been named as A4 in the same.
The SIT officers investigated for around seven hours from earlier in the day today before he was finally taken it to custody by the concerned authorities, a short while back. He is likely to be presented in front of the magistrate in short while, and this would mean the start of the legal process against him.
Midhun Reddy is one of the most influential members of the YSR Congress ecosystem, and he is very close to YS Jagan as well. Now that he has been named as A4 in this case and has also been arrested, it has to be seen what sort of legal jurisdiction he will come across now.
This happens to be the biggest arrest in the liquor scam case, and it could potentially lead to several consequences on this matter.
