For a really long time now, Cricket has been one of the most followed sports across the globe and particularly so in India. But now the discussion has opened up about the prospect of the changing game.

It is being established that certain teams are so very dominant in the world Cricket set up that even big score are not being able to contain some of the categorical teams.

Recently, we have seen the case of the T20 series between India and West Indies, which created an absolute sensation as West Indies was able to chase down a target of 250 that was set by India.

Back in the day, a score of 250 was enough to defend an ODI game of 50 overs. But we have arrived at a point where even the T20 game is producing cases where teams are able to successful successfully chase down score of 250.

On the other hand, we have the case of the game between England and Sri Lanka, which happened last night and it happened to be the second highest run chase in ODI history.

It was England who batter first and scored 429 runs as they set a massive 430 runs target for Sri Lanka. Everyone expected this game to be done and dusted in the first innings itself, considering the massive score set by England.

But Sri Lanka was having none of this as they were so very phenomenal with the bat in the second innings that they completed the chase in the final over. Subsequently, the second highest runs in the history of ODI format was completed last night.

Global Cricket has arrived at a point. Where 250 runs is not enough in T20 cricket while even 430 runs are not even sufficient in the ODI format. This is a changing parameter that has been affecting the global Cricket sensation in the recent past.
