The news of Naval Officer Ravinder killing his girlfriend Mounika, quite brutally and cutting her body into pieces before refrigerating it has gone viral for sure. However, what went more viral is the story being aired by many TV Channels and YouTube-based news companies about the whole murder episode. What’s more disgusting about this is that they are putting up lots of crazy and cringe-thumbnails to get immediate attention from the netizens.

Apparently, some YouTube channels are posting thumbnails like “Putttintlo Illalu.. Fridge lo Priyuralu”, indicating that when the wife of the accused left for another city, he called up his girlfriend and killed her. But the way the thumbnails are being titled, and the visuals are nothing but disgusting. Everyone is trying to bring their own creative touch by adding some rhyming words and a gross representation of the gruesome murder. Just to get some attention, some views and a few clicks, it showcases how some of the thumbnail designers, their copywriters and content heads stoop too low, as proved with this incident.

Even some noted journalists felt that Mounika’s brutal murder by a Naval officer in Vizag was being covered quite disgustingly by the Telugu media. Tweaked movie titles, horrible language, and shameless narratives are said to be taking centre stage in the whole episode, and thumbnails are the worst thing ever in this whole narrative. Forget about the insensitive questions being thrown at the family of Mounika; on the other hand, disgusting thumbnails already created an impression of what they are.
