Nara Lokesh Says “Truth Has Won” as He Remembers Chandrababu’s Arrest

Andhra Pradesh Minister Nara Lokesh today shared a post on Twitter remembering the arrest of his father and Telugu Desam Party (TDP) chief N. Chandrababu Naidu three years ago.

Lokesh used the hashtag #NijamGelichindi, which means “Truth Has Won.” His post looked back at the difficult period when Chandrababu Naidu was arrested in a case during the previous YSRCP government.

Lokesh said that three years ago, on the same day, the YSRCP government illegally arrested Chandrababu Naidu in what he described as a fabricated case. He alleged that the case was filed for political gains.

He added that Chandrababu Naidu remained in custody for 53 days. During this period, Telugu people from Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and different parts of the world showed their support for him.

Lokesh recalled the slogan “Let the truth prevail,” which became an emotional message among TDP supporters during those days. He said that people continued to stand with Chandrababu Naidu and believed that the truth would eventually come out.

In his latest post, Lokesh said that the truth has now prevailed. He pointed out that Chandrababu Naidu has come out of the detention and claimed that the fabricated cases were later quashed by the courts.
