India is the biggest democratic nation in the world and the usage of free will that we observe in this country is beyond all measure. In this context, something interesting is happening now as the prime minister of the country Narendra Modi has spoken about the need to reduce dependency on other countries.
In his elaborate speech in Hyderabad last night, Modi spoke about the need to stop buying Gold for the next one year in order to counter the inflation. He even asked for the implementation of work from home culture to reduce petrol and diesel usage.
These are some pretty solid recommendations made by the Prime Minister, but the actual practical aspect of the same is in question now.
Fundamentally speaking, Indians from buying gold regularly is a tough task, and it really needs to be said that this is practically impossible. This is a crucial element for the social fabric of marriage and other festivity activities.
And then, when it comes to the work from home culture, it is the responsibility of the government of India to instruct the private companies to act accordingly.
A simple generic statement from any politician will not initiate private company to look at work from home option at this point in time with the major majority of private companies wanting office culture.
We have to patiently wait and see if the Indian authorities would take consolidated action with regard to gold procurement and work from home culture.
