Narendra Modi Visits Historic Temple In AP’s Lepakshi!

He will be participating in the Ram Mandir inauguration and he will be inaugurating the temple.

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi is very close to adding another big achievement to his name. He will be participating in the Ram Mandir inauguration and he will be inaugurating the temple. The Ram Mandir in Ayodhya has a very special place in the hearts of the believers.

Ahead of this Prime Minister visited the historic temple in Andhra Pradesh and offered a special pooja. Narendra Modi reached the Veerabhadra Temple at Lepakshi and offered his prayers. He not only offered prayers but also chanted the ‘Shri Ram Jai Ram’ bhajan.

After the prayers, the temple priests explained the history surrounding the famous temple, and a special puppet show was also held for the Prime Minister. Narendra Modi can be seen in a traditional attire with a tilak on his forehead.

As per the legend, the Lepakshi temple is believed to be the place where Jatayu, the bird that fought Ravana while saving Sita Mata. At the same sight, the bird attained the Moksha. As the story has a link with the Ramayana epic the temple has a lot of significance and draws devotees in big numbers.

The temple's history was explained to the Prime Minister by the priests there. He received the traditional welcome as per the protocol. Upon visiting the temple he was given a big welcome by the temple authorities.

The Prime Minister visited the state to inaugurate the National Academy of Customs, Indirect Taxes and Narcotics (NACIN) in Palasamudram. He inaugurated the premium academy and made some crucial comments on the occasion. Narendra Modi said that many tax reforms were introduced in the past few years that led to tax collection in big numbers.
