New Zealand is making it easier for some skilled foreign workers to qualify for residence by changing the wage rules from August 24.
Under the new rules, eligible workers generally won't have to meet a newer, higher wage threshold after they have already started accumulating the work experience required for residence. The changes affect pathways including Green List Tier 2, care workforce and transport workers.
