No Confidence Against Modi: What About YCP,TDP?
Andhra Pradesh TDP and YCP it is said that the no confidence motion is a big test for the parties.
The opposition parties which came under one roof named INDIA are showing their mark. As a result we are seeing some intensity during the Parliament monsoon sessions. The opposition parties are putting up a strong fight. Now all the parties have geared up to move to the no confidence motion against the Modi government.
The no confidence notice can be served to the government if it is supported by 10 percent of the total house strength. 54 MP's strength is needed for the no confidence motion. The INDIA alliance has a strength of over 100 MPs in the Lok Sabha. So there is a full chance to move the motion.
Keeping aside on whether the no confidence motion will be passed or not. We can say that an interesting battle would happen between two strong Alliances in the house. This will also clear the stands of the parties in the Lok Sabha house.
It is said that there are 26 parties in the alliance while the NDA alliance is supported by 39 parties. There are a few parties which are neutral. BRS, YCP,TDP and Shiromani Akali Dal are such parties. They have the support of 91 MPs. We have to wait and see how the parties react and respond to this
Many say that BRS would vote against the Modi government if a no confidence motion is tabled. The party is taking part in the protest held by the opposition parties. Talking about Andhra Pradesh, there are two parties-TDP and YCP. It is said that the no confidence motion is a big test for the parties. There are 22 MPs for the YCP in Lok Sabha.
The support would become key in the no confidence motion. Though the BJP has strength on its own, it may seek the help of the YCP to defeat the motion with a big majority. It may also ask the TDP for support which has a strength of three MPs.
Observers say that this is a tricky situation for TDP which is waiting for friendship with the BJP. There is an option that YCP has a behind the doors friendship with the BJP. We have to wait and see whether the YCP will openly support the party or stay neutral. Staying neutral means walking out. This is indirect support to the BJP. If this happens then the opposition parties would highlight the YCP-BJP friendship. Many say that this is a big test for the TDP and YSRCP.
