Pakistan Wants Rs 1 Lakh Crore, But Will USA Approve?

It is already known that Pakistan has been severely affected by the global economic crisis, and it is one of the financially struggling countries in the world. The situation is so very pathetic that Pakistan is unable to formulate its own financial budget with a consistent policy.

So now Pakistan has done something unexpected as they have requested the United States of America for a significant financial contribution of around ₹96,000 crore.

Reportedly Pakistan has requested a financial support of nearly ₹1,00,000 crore from the United States for the recent mediation between Iran and United States regarding the conflict. This has become major global news as Pakistan national charging mediation fees.

Reportedly, Pakistan has requested a $10 billion Exchange Stabilization Facility from the US, citing economic pressure from the Iran conflict and disruptions around the Strait of Hormuz.

The request was made by F M Muhammad Aurangzeb during talks with US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent. However, the point to be remembered here is that the United States has not yet approved this proposition that was made by the Pakistan finance minister.

It is indeed strange to see Pakistan, requesting financial support after the mediation with Iran and Usa, but considering the pathetic situation of the country finances, this is perhaps understandable.

However, Trump does not have a great respect for Pakistan, so we have to patiently wait and see if the United States would actually come forward to Pakistan at this point.
