Paritala Mark Impact In These Two Seats?

The grand old Telugu Desam Party which has been in politics for a few decades has a few strongholds where it can win the elections irrespective of the overall result of elections. Anantapur region is one of the strongholds of TDP. But this is past and the party started becoming weak there.

Paritala Ravindra aka Paritala Ravi was the strong force behind TDP becoming strong in the region. But his demise changed the status quo of the party. After he was killed the party started losing grip over the region. Paritala Ravi’s political legacy is continued as his wife Sunitha served as the Cabinet Minister earlier. Their son Sriram is also active in politics.

Now big talk is going on among the political circles which say that the Paritala family played its mark in politics in two seats and managed to see that candidates of their choice get the tickets. It is being said that the Paritala family was behind the unexpected changes in candidates in two seats.

Varadapuram Suri had his eyes on the Dharmavaram seat. It was said that he wanted to get the ticket even if it takes to join the TDP. But the BJP got the ticket as part of the alliance. Despite BJP getting the seat Suri did not get the ticket with Satya Kumar getting picked by the leadership.

The political talk is that it was the Paritala family behind former MLA Prabhakar Chowdary not getting a ticket. He pinned high hopes on the Anantapur Urban seat. His followers felt that he would be the TDP candidate. Venkateswara Prasad was the candidate for the seat.

The Paritala family is said to be the reason behind the unexpected changes in the two seats. Talking about Venkateswara Prasad he was the MPP in Raptadu earlier and the family reportedly played a role in him getting the ticket.
