That’s Deputy Pawan Kalyan: Announces Massive Donations!

As he is the Panchayati Raj Minister he decided to donate Rs 1 lakh to 400 Panchayats which are affected by the floods.

Looking at the devastation created by the heavy rains in the Telugu states, Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister, Panchayati Raj and Janasena chief Pawan Kalyan came forward to announce donations.

He will hand over Rs 1 crore to the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Relief Fund and Rs 1 crore to the Telangana Chief Minister Relief Fund. As he is the Panchayati Raj Minister he decided to donate Rs 1 lakh to 400 Panchayats which are affected by the floods. This would translate to Rs 4 crore.

In total Pawan Kalyan announced Rs 6 crores to the Telugu states as his part. As the Deputy and Panchayati Raj of the state he is monitoring the rescue works in the affected areas and he is chairing review meetings with the concerned officials.
