The deputy chief minister of Andhra Pradesh, Pawan Kalyan had been very active with his political commentary over the last few days, and he was on the job again yesterday. While interacting with JanaSena supporters, Pawan Kalyan made a very interesting comments about the caste system.

Pawan Kalyan pointed out that he is here in politics to go beyond communal and caste lines, but certain people have been trying to restrict him to this boundary.

Kalyan gave a strong warning to the Kapu community leaders who have been troubling him by saying that he is roaming with Kamma leaders. He pointed out that the legendary Vangaveeti Ranga’s wife was also a Kamma lady but people had no problem with her then.

The deputy chief minister gave a strong indication that he is here to fight for the country and the people of the state, but not for people from one particular caste or community.

This was very straightforward talk from the deputy chief minister, as he was very educated about the communal lines in Andhra Pradesh and asked the common public to grow beyond that.

This was followed by another explosive statement from the deputy chief minister, as he asked the people of Kapu community to elect their own chief minister and said he would really congratulate them if it happens.

At a time when caste and community are dictating the political outcomes in Andhra Pradesh, it takes a lot of guts from Pawan Kalyan to make such an explosive statement against his own community leaders.
