It is already known that the Andhra Pradesh government has taken the Tirupati to issue very seriously as the investigation in this case has started to intensify. The CBI has established in principal that certain adulteration has happened, and more details are yet to be unearthed.

In this context, something very interesting is happening now as deputy chief minister, Pawan Kalyan has called for a dedicated board to oversee the Sanatana Dharma activities.

According to the latest statement issued by Pawan Kalyan, the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam is more than a pilgrimage center and it is a sacred spiritual sojourn.

Kalyan pointed out that the Tirupati Laddu is not just a sweet; it is a shared emotion that we distribute it among friends, family and strangers alike, for it embodies our collective belief and profound faith.

On average, nearly 2.5 crore devotees visit Tirumala every year. And when the sentiments and practices of Sanatanis are mocked or undermined, it is not merely hurtful but it shatters the trust and devotion of millions around the world.

Kalyan, then specifically pointed out that secularism must be a two-way street. Protection and respect for our faith cannot be negotiable. Our Sanatana Dharma is one of the oldest and ever-evolving civilizations and it's high time we establish the Sanatana Dharma Parirakshana Board.
