Pawan Kalyan proposes social media bill: What does it mean?
Pawan proposed a social media amendment bill that regulates the kind of stuff that is posted on social media.
There was a very interesting discussion in the Andhra Pradesh assembly session today and it has something to do with deputy CM Pawan Kalyan. The JSP chief proposed a new bill in the assembly and it certainly catches the attention right away.
Pawan proposed a social media amendment bill that regulates the kind of stuff that is posted on social media.
The deputy CM is vexed by the abusive nature of social media posts these days, where people are posting hate stuff, morphed images, and derogatory comments on politicians. He has now called for a new bill the sternly punishes such abusive posts on social media.
Once this bill comes into effect, the government will be able to punish abusive people on social media. This is a mechanism to curb the abusive culture on social media and enforce meaningful dialogue on social media platforms.
This is pretty much a desired shift in equilibrium in order to curb the abuses culture that is increasingly prevalent in the Telugu space on social media.
