Having faced the jolt in the 2019 elections, both Janasena and Telugu Desam Party joined hands for an alliance. With the common goal of defeating the ruling YSRCP, both parties are working together. Co-ordination meetings are held and parties are working on seat sharing as well.

The alliance faced a few questions on equal importance and respect when TDP announced Chandrababu Naidu as the Chief Minister. Nara Lokesh ruled out the possibility of power-sharing and said that CBN will be the sole Chief Minister given his experience.

This statement prompted people like Chegondi Harirama Jogaiah to question whether Janasena is getting respect or not. He had written a big letter to Pawan Kalyan on this asking why he is silent on the declaration.

As if that is not enough Chandrababu Naidu announced that TDP will contest Mandapeta and Araku seats. This hurt the Janasena supporters and followers as they wondered how the party can announce the candidates without considering Janasena.

Now Janasena chief also said the same. He reportedly said that Chandrababu Naidu announcing the candidates is not good as both parties are in alliance. Talking about the alliance, Pawan reportedly said that the party can win a few seats and there is no assurance of power.

On the occasion, he also took strong objection to Nara Lokesh’s comments. He said that he was hurt by what Nara Lokesh said but kept silent for the benefit of the people. Talking about the alliance, Pawan said that it is not restricted to the Assembly elections and the alliance will continue in the future too.

But what caught everyone’s attention is that Pawan Kalyan announced two seats on Republic Day. Talking to the party members, he said that he is announcing two seats that Janasena will contest which are Razole and Rajanagaram. He said that just like Chandrababu, he is also facing pressure.
