CBN-Pawan To Hold Joint Public Meetings?
The stage is set for the big election fight in Andhra Pradesh in the form of general elections
The stage is set for the big election fight in Andhra Pradesh in the form of general elections. Making the elections interesting, the opposition parties joined hands for the alliance. While the ruling YSRCP is going alone for the elections, the opposition parties will go to elections together.
As the alliance is confirmed, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Chandrababu Naidu, and Pawan Kalyan held a meeting earlier in the state. In his speech PM Modi said that the people in the state are ready to support the alliance.
Now it is said that it's time for the joint public meetings of TDP chief Chandrababu and Janasena supremo Pawan Kalyan. It is said that the meetings will last two days covering a few regions. This is the first time the two will address the joint meetings.
As per the political talk, Chandrababu and Pawan will address the joint meetings on the 10th and 11th of this month. The meetings would be held in the Godavari districts. On the 10th of this month, the roadshows and public meetings might be held in Nidadavolu and in P. Gannavaram the next day.
While the exact reason behind this is not known, many say that the Godavari districts were picked to repeat the 2014 scenes. When the opposition parties allied in 2014, they dominated the region and won a good number of seats.
It is said that TDP and JSP want to repeat the same in the upcoming elections too. There are more than 30 MLA seats in the region and Pithapuram from where Pawan Kalyan is contesting is also in the same region. Many say that the meetings would help the alliance get stronger and get votes.
The vote bank of the parties is also in good number in Godavari districts. The meetings might help in consolidating the vote bank. Let us wait and see how the meetings would be held and how they would attack the ruling party.
