Once the new changes come into existence then the applicants should pay more amount as the cost of the Naturalization form and Green Card will increase for the existing amounts

Currently, the Naturalization application form costs $640. After the hike, the cost reaches $760. In the case of biometric work, the costs will become $760 from $710.The total application expenses for a Green card will increase to $3,005 from the existing cost of $1,760.

Despite the big rise in the application costs, a section of applicants can have relief as those who earn 400% of the federal poverty guideline can apply for the same at a lower cost.

It has to be mentioned here that the time it takes to apply for a green card was reduced by the Immigration Services. On top of this, the costs were increased. With this, those who apply for the green card and others might see a fall in numbers.

Talking about the data, there has been a big rise in the number of people who are applying for Citizenship over the years. As the costs were increased by the Immigration services we have to see whether the numbers will stay intact or will there be any uptick.
