Pentagon Preparing U.S. For 90 Days: Should World Be Worried?

United States of America is the power capital of the globe and the kind of activities that happen here can change the global political trajectory as a whole. Now something pretty drastic is happening in the United States, which could have a significant in the global political arena as well.

According to the latest reports, the Pentagon is preparing US military bases to operate for at least 90 days without outside support, including electricity, water, fuel and communications, amid preparations for a possible major war.

The concern is that a major conflict could cripple power grids, disrupt supply chains and damage critical infrastructure across the US. So the United States has already started to prepare for further complications at the global level.

US military has already announced plans to reduce major bases dependence on civilian power grids.

The bases could use portable nuclear reactors, large battery storage and smaller grids to disconnect from the civilian grid and keep operating during prolonged power outages.

It is old from the United States for a possible global conflict situation and things are not looking very promising at this point. Even the United Kingdom has started to prepare for similar situations as they have advised the public to stock on essential commodities.

If the United States itself is preparing for global conflict situations, then the situation with other countries could be pretty detrimental in nature as well. It will all come down to the matter of International security as any kind of global conflict can have strong consequences on countries like India as well.
