The political landscape in Telangana changed as the Bharat Rashtra Samithi(BRS) which won two consecutive terms lost the elections and the grand old Congress party came to power. Congress went past the magic figure. Massive arrangements were made for the oath-taking ceremony of Revanth Reddy as the Chief Minister and he was sworn in as the CM.

Even before he became the CM, his mark had begun in the state as the Pragati Bhavan, which is the official residence of the state, underwent a few changes. The iron fencing, barricades, and sheds were removed by the GHMC authorities.

Earlier Revanth Reddy made crucial comments on Pragati Bhavan and said the residence is close to the public and after coming to power he would remove all the restrictions. People are saying that Revanth Reddy did not forget what he said earlier and fulfilled them.

Revanth Reddy even said that he would change the name of the residence and he would be renamed as Dr BR Ambedkar Praja Bhavan from the existing Pragathi Bhavan.

Cut to a few days the changes were made and that too on the day of his oath-taking ceremony. The pictures are videos of the authorities removing the barricades and sheds and are now doing rounds with the Congress supporters widely sharing them.

The changes the Pragathi Bhavan went through would make access to the structure easy and the traffic movement would also be easy from now on.

Pragathi Bhavan was inaugurated in 2017 by the BRS government and the structure is spread across nine acres of land. It was opened on the occasion of the then Chief Minister KCR.
