Prashant Kishor's Predictions: Do They Have Credibility?

Prashant Kishor is a popular name as a political strategist. He worked with a few parties across the states and a few of them won the elections too. After working with the parties, PK is keeping himself busy of late with the political predictions. Of late he is coming up with the predictions on the elections.

Now Prashant Kishor created a sensation with his predictions on Andhra Pradesh elections. He said that Jagan might face a tough time in the elections. At an interview he made these comments creating a big sensation. He worked with Jagan in 2019 for the elections.

Despite this, he is seeing Jagan’s defeat which is strange. With this people started talking about his credibility in such matters. After a big career, he changed his path and toured extensively in Bihar. He met people in the state to know their problems. His yatra did not get the required push from the parties.

On the other hand, there are many instances where Prashant Kishor went wrong with his predictions. For the recent Telangana elections, he predicted BRS win. But everyone knows what happened. Congress came to power by crushing the BRS.

For the Karnataka elections, PK saw the BJP as the clear winner and said the party would win the second term. But the Congress party won the elections and crushed the BJP. Many factors played a big role in the Congress party’s win in the state.

Talking about Himachal Pradesh, he said that there is no chance for the Congress to win the elections there as the state has a Hindu population in big numbers. But the voters gave a new result and voted Congress to power. Himachal Pradesh has been following the trend of not voting incumbent governments.

Keeping the reasons aside there are three incidents where PK went terribly wrong with the predictions. Now he is saying the same for Andhra Pradesh too. He has been saying that Jagan will not win the elections.

On the other hand, Prashant Kishor has been supporting TDP and Chandrababu for some time and targeting Jagan. If we look at the recent comments he made we can understand this.

Another big prediction that came from is that BJP might be in first and second position in Telangana in Lok Sabha polls. It is a known fact that BRS and Congress are strong compared to BJP. If BJP has to come first or second it needs a big task which might not be possible.
