No one would have predicted that Vijayawada would face such a tough situation with the floods. The heavy rainfall left the majority of regions in the city drowned. The government has been putting in serious efforts for the rescue operations. Chandrababu Naidu visited the flood-hit areas directly.

It is known that the continuous rainfall turned out to be a big disaster. The rescue operations have been going on to save the victims. Amid this, a heart wrenching picture is doing rounds which shows a pregnant woman walking in flood water.

Many areas including Singh Nagar were submerged in the flood water. We are seeing many heart-wrenching moments from the rescue and the viral picture is one of them. A pregnant woman was seen walked of the place by a person.

The picture is now doing rounds on social media which sheds light on the devastating situations. Pregnant women are fearing the situation due to water all over making it tough for the rescue teams to enter the places.

This is an example of the ongoing situation. This speaks volumes about the heavy impact the floods left on the temple city.

On the other hand, media reports say that pregnant women were shifted to safe places as a safety measure. Around 154 pregnant women who would deliver in a few days were shifted to the nearby hospitals.

Earlier another picture went viral. A small baby was rescued in a plastic box placed on a plastic sheet. As there was neck deep water the baby was rescued.
