Tension Grips Tirupati With Attack On Alliance MLA Candidate!

The much-awaited elections concluded the other day and we saw some tense scenes. It appears that the political heat around the polls did not end even after the elections. A shocking incident came to light in which an MLA candidate was brutally attacked. He sustained injuries in the attack.

As per the information shared by popular media house Eenadu, alliance candidate Pulivarthi Nani from the Chandragiri segment was attacked. A few people attacked him leaving him injured. The videos of the same are now doing rounds.

The MLA candidate was attacked at the Padmavati Women’s University in Tirupati when he went to check the strong room. It is said that sticks and rods were used in the attack.

The impact of the attack was such that the MLA candidate’s staff was also injured and a vehicle was damaged.He sat for a protest condemning the attack and to seek the arrest of the accused.

There was a big chaos at the University after the attack as we can see a damaged vehicle and bottles on the road. The TDP leaders are alleging that the attack was planned by the ruling party leaders.

The TDP leaders said that Nani and others were attacked at the University and they are against this. The videos are now doing rounds as the TDP supporters are sharing them on social media widely.

Tension gripped the region as the MLA candidate and his supporters sat in a protest against the attack. They are demanding strict action. It looks like the intensity around the elections did not come down even a bit after the conclusion of the polls.
