Star Badminton player PV Sindhu entered the Paris Olympics with a lot of expectations to win a medal. She is living up to the expectations and she is on the right path in the journey to win a medal. PV Sindhu is officially in the knockout stage. With back-to-back wins, PV Sindhu entered Round 16.
She is in Round 16 of the Badminton in Women’s singles. She won two matches comfortably and fixed her spot in Round 16. In the group stage, PV Sindhu defeated Kristin Kuuba and went close to the medal glory.
In the last group match, PV Sindhu faced Estonia’s Kristin Kuuba and recorded a comfortable win. She won the match 21-5 and 21-10. With a comfortable win, PV Sindhu reached the Pre-quarters. After getting an early lead in the first set she took forward the lead in the second lead.
PV Sindhu started her Olympic journey on a positive note by defeating Maldives' Fathimath Abdul Razzaq. In the second match, Sindhu defeated Kristin Kuuba. In the next match, PV Sindhu might face a Chinese player.
Looking at the consistency of PV Sindhu she is very close to another medal glory. PV Sindhu won two medals earlier, one in the Rio Games and the second one in the Tokyo Games.
