No Berth To RRR In Cabinet:Will He Get Speaker Post?

It’s the time of the new government in Andhra Pradesh. The cabinet led by Nara Chandrababu Naidu took oath today. As many as 24 members were given a chance in the Cabinet including 17 fresh faces. The list came as a surprise to one and all as the seniors were left out.

It is known that former MP Raghu Rama Krishna Raju aka RRR has been a sensation in the state for some time. He targeted the YCP despite being a member. Ahead of the elections he joined the TDP. May felt that he would get the Narasapuram MP ticket as it was his sitting seat.

As he was not given the MP seat many felt that he might get a Cabinet berth or Speaker post. RRR was not taken into the Cabinet. For the past few days, reports have been saying RRR might get a cabinet berth. However, the TDP leadership had a different approach.

With this, a new debate started on whether he would be made the Speaker who would be the head of the house. The reason behind the reports of this opinion is that he can make YCP leaders ask for a chance to speak in the house.

Everyone knows the fight between RRR and YCP leadership. The party leaders targeted him on many occasions. So there was an opinion that RRR might be made the Assembly speaker.

If this happens then this would be a new feather in RRR’s career. Very rarely we see leaders becoming the Speaker. Let us wait and see how the TDP boss goes further on selecting the Speaker.
