Can Rahul Gandhi Repeat Bharat Jodo Yatra's Success?
The Congress party's rise can be seen before and after the Karnataka elections
The Congress party's rise can be seen before and after the Karnataka elections. The party which has been losing elections changed the tables around in the Karnataka elections. The party repeated the same performance in the recent Telangana elections as well.
Though the party could not come to power in the other poll-bound states, it gave a fight to the BJP. Now the longest-surviving party in the world is occupied with the preparations for the upcoming Lok Sabha polls. The party brought all the parties under one roof to take on BJP.
As a shot in the arm efforts, Rahul Gandhi who pulled off a big stint with his Bharat Jodo Yatra is said to be in plans to start the second phase of the yatra. The Lok Sabha elections are just a few months away from now and the Congress has to go all guns blazing.
For this, Rahul Gandhi's yatra might be a good weapon. If everything goes well the yatra might be started in January eyeing the much-awaited Lok Sabha polls. When Bharat Jodo Yatra was going on Congress managed to win a few states. So all eyes are on the yatra to see what it can do.
Rahul Gandhi started the Bharat Jodo Yatra earlier last year and covered more than 4,000 km. He received a warm welcome from various sections of people including celebrities and politicians. His yatra helped the yatra to improve its image and get strong.
As we are hearing reports that he might start the second phase of yatra soon we have to wait and see if Rahul Gandhi can repeat the Bharat Jodo Yatra sort of success or not.
