The Lok Sabha House saw some intense scenes on Monday with arguments and counterarguments. It is known that earlier the Lok Sabha was adjourned till Monday. The opposition leaders demanded discussion on the NEET-UG row and motions were also moved. The sessions resumed on Monday.

Rahul Gandhi who is the Leader Of Opposition gave an intense speech in Lok Sabha in his first speech that rocked the house. What he said did not go well with the ruling NDA and demanded an apology from Rahul Gandhi.

Without taking names Rahul Gandhi said that people who call themselves Hindus talk about violence and hatred. Expressing his dissatisfaction with BJP ignoring Manipur which is facing issues he made these comments. However, he did not mention any names.

But the BJP did not like this. Prime Minister Narendra Modi took a strong objection to this and said that trying to paint the whole Hindu community as violent is not just acceptable. Union Home Minister Amit Shah demanded an apology from Rahul Gandhi.

Rahul Gandhi said that the BJP or RSS or Modi are not the entire Hindu society. Adding further he displayed the picture of Lord Shiva in the house and said Hindus won't spread fear. He said that this country is fearless and great men in the country spoke about non-violence.

Rahul Gandhi’s comments created a big uproar in the house and the ruling party took a strong objection. Speaker Om Birla also said this is against the rules and they cannot do that.

Amit Shah hit back at Rahul Gandhi talking about the attacks on Sikhs in 1984 and said the Congress party should not talk about non-violence and demanded an apology from Rahul Gandhi for his comments.
