Gandhi Scion Reinstated As MP After Long Fight!
Now Rahul Gandhi is back as the MP and we can expect more aggression from the opposition in targeting the BJP
Under a dramatic turn of events, Congress senior MP Rahul Gandhi was disqualified by a local court. In a defamation case that was filed against the Gandhi scion a few years back, the court convicted him and awarded him two years of jail term. He got a big relief recently.
Recently, the Supreme Court imposed a stay on the verdict given by the local court and restored his MP status. The Parliament also reinstalled him as the MP. The Congress party submitted the court order cop to the Lok Sabha secretariat and after going through the cops, the Secretariat gave the orders.
After a lengthy legal battle that lasted for a few months, Rahul Gandhi got significant relief with the Supreme Court orders. The Gandhi scion is expected to participate in the Parliament sessions and the Congress leaders have been waiting for this to happen.
It is known that the opposition parties are aggressively targeting the BJP on the Manipur issue and a no-confidence motion was also served. We have been seeing some tense situations in the Parliament ever since the monsoon sessions started.
Now Rahul Gandhi is back as the MP and we can expect more aggression from the opposition in targeting the BJP and Narendra Modi. On many occasions, Rahul Gandhi raised his voice against the issue of Gautam Adani and targeted the Bharatiya Janata Party.
The opposition often targets the BJP that the party is favoring Gujarati business magnate Gautam Adani. Rahul Gandhi is among the fierce critics of the party on the issue.
The way Rahul Gandhi was suspended from the party raised many eyeballs and many asked why the government was in a hurry to do that. He was also served a notice to vacate the building that was allotted to him.
Talking about the case, back in Rahul Gandhi made a controversial comment on the Modi surname. He asked, "How come all the thieves have Modi as the common surname?". His comments raised many eyeballs and many asked how he can pass such comments. Not happy with that, a BJP leader filed a case and the lower court gave the verdict.
