Rahul Gandhi Talks About YSR’s Influence On Him!

The Grand Old Congress party was in the picture in Andhra Pradesh for some years. Until a few months back, the elections were seen as a fight between YCP and opposition parties. But the Congress party appeared as a big surprise. The party came to light after a long time.

Sharmila joining Congress and getting appointed as the state chief is a big decision. With this, Congress came into a fight. Sharmila is contesting from the Kadapa seat as MP and she will face Avinash Reddy. She has been campaigning in the state and the campaign saw a big push.

Rahul Gandhi came to Andhra Pradesh for the campaign. Along with YS Sharmila, Rahul Gandhi visited Idupulapaya and paid tribute to YSR before addressing the massive event.

Gandhi scion Rahul made sensational comments and spoke about the influence YSR had on him. Rahul Gandhi credited YSR for the Yatras he did. He said that YSR is the inspiration for the Bharat Jodo Yatra he carried out earlier.

“YSR showed the path not just for AP, but to the whole country. YSR’s Padayatra is the inspiration for my Bharat Jodo Yatra. YSR told me that only with the Padayatra can we know the issues faced by the people. YSR told me to carry out a yatra across the nation. He directed me as a fatherly figure,” Rahul Gandhi said.

After stressing the bond he had with YSR, Rahul Gandhi urged the people to support sister Sharmila. Rahul Gandhi said that if the values and ideologies of YSR should enter the Parliament then Sharmila should be voted in elections and sought public support for her.
