BJP MLA Says Currency Should Have Lord Rama's Pictures!

The temple city of Ayodhya is gearing up for a massive occasion. The temple fever had gripped the nation in the wake of the inauguration. In the wake of earlier it was reported that RBI might be printing Rs 500 notes with a picture of Lord Rama. However, the authorities rubbished these claims.

BJP firebrand leader MLA Raja Singh made some crucial comments. Addressing a meeting held at Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar in Maharashtra, the controversial MLA bats for the demand of currency notes with Rama’s pictures.

The Goshamahal MLA said that it is the demand of Hindus to see currency notes with lord Ram’s pictures and requested the Prime Minister to look into this. He even cited the examples of other nations to back his demand.

Raja Singh said that other nations have currency with Hindu gods' pictures. Indonesia has a large Muslim population but still, there are Hindu gods' pictures on the currency. There is a big demand for this from the population, he said.

When everyone had been waiting eagerly for the Ram Mandir he made these comments and said that currency should have the pictures of lord Rama. His comments made the crowd at the meeting go wild.

Not stopping there, the MLA also spoke about the Waqf board. He blamed Nehru for this and alleged that the board was brought to save the assets. Talking about Maharashtra, the MLA said that the board owns 10 lakh acres in the state and urged the state government to release the lands.
