What Is The Future Of Raja Singh In BJP Now?

Telangana will go for the elections in a few months. The Telangana wing of the Bharatiya Janata Party which has been saying that it can come to power took the elections seriously and is working on it. It is said that the party might focus on the Assembly segment and make the key leaders contest from the Assembly seats.

A list that is dubbed as the potential final list of candidates for the next elections. The list grabbed everyone's attention as firebrand leader Raja Singh's name was reportedly missing. It is said that Vikram Goud is the candidate for the seat from the Goshamahal seat.

This started a debate about the future of Raja Singh in the BJP. It is known that the firebrand leader was suspended from the party for the alleged inflammatory comments he made. The issue became a sensation to the point that he was even arrested.

BJP Central Disciplinary Committee issued suspension orders and directed the MLA to explain his words. However, there is no update on what the MLA did in response and his suspension is still active.

Many leaders including Vijayashanthi felt that the suspension would be lifted. However, that did not happen and the party leadership is said to be in plans to look beyond him. It is also said that Vikram Goud might run the elections in Goshamahal.

Raja Singh won elections from Goshamahal two times and wanted to win a third time. However, the BJP leadership is in other plans and Vikram Goud might be the candidate. The leadership might have felt that it needs no controversies in the elections.

Raja Singh was the face of the party in the state. He was the lone MLA for the party. Raja Singh never took a back step in flaunting his Hindutva stand and making provocative statements. He enjoys a big following in Goshamahal and we have to see whether the party can win there without him.

BJP often banks on the image of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the elections which will not work all the time. We have seen this in recent Karnataka elections. So the candidates should also have an image. Raja Singh has that image. Before BJP started flourishing, Raja Singh won the elections. The processions he takes for Sri Rama Navami and Hanuman Jayanthi draw big crowds.
