It was extensively reported that the government is seriously contemplating the idea of blending ethanol with flight fuel in order to cut down on the cost. This was also seen as a development for clean aviation. But there was a significant campaign that was framed in such a way that this blending process could pose a threat to flight safety.

This has now invited the reaction of the civil aviation minister, Rammohan Naidu himself, and he categorically confirmed that there is no such thing as blending ethanol with flight fuel.

He communicated that the civil ministry will be continuously working with the engineering teams in order to identify the best possible fuel processing for flights.

The young minister pointed out that it is not right to spread misinformation regarding the flight standards and safety measures just for the sake of viewership. He made it very clear that there is no truth in this speculations about blending of ethanol in flight fuel.

He advised the public not to believe in the speculations as he confirmed that safety and security of air travel will be upheld at all times.
