Media Baron Ramoji Rao is no more. The 87-year-old passed away while undergoing treatment at a private hospital. His mortal remains were shifted to the Ramoji Film City. People are paying their tributes to the veteran personality whose empire is beyond states and languages.
One after the other politicians and others are coming to bid their last goodbye to Ramoji Rao. Janasena chief Pawan Kalyan also reached the film city to pay tributes to him. He made some crucial comments on the occasion.
Pawan Kalyan said Ramoji Rao was subjected to many troubles in the last 15 years. But he did not bow down to anyone and stood strong. The governments that troubled him are no more now. I wanted to meet him after the swearing-in. Unfortunately, he is no more, he said.
The Janasena chief said that he was told about the news of his demise which made him sad. Pawan Kalyan said that thousands of journalists came out of the Eenadu Journalism schools. Pawan Kalyan also highlighted the infrastructure Ramoji Rao developed with the Film City.
Having said that, Pawan said such a person was troubled by the government for around 15 years. Though he did not take any names, people wonder if he indirectly spoke about the YCP government as CID filed a case and went to his house for questioning.
On the other hand Megastar Chiranjeevi said the Telugu community lost a big icon and his demise is an irreplaceable loss to the Telugu states. The veteran hero also recalled his memories with Ramoji Rao on the occasion. He said that he saw a small kid in Ramoji Rao when he used to meet him in 2009.
Chiranjeevi said that when he gifted a pen to Ramoji Rao he showed him the collection of pens he had of various colours and how he writes down his thoughts.
