No Politics, No Caste Angle: Ranganath Clarifies About Pawan Kalyan Meeting

A recent interview with Ranganath has created a lot of discussion. During the interview, the anchor asked him why he met Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan. The question was direct. The anchor wanted to know whether the meeting was related to caste, profession, or any other specific reason.

Ranganath clearly explained the situation. He said that he already knew Chiranjeevi and Pawan Kalyan for many years. He said their connection was not new and mentioned that he had been familiar with them for nearly ten years. So, the meeting was not something unusual or unexpected.

He further added that on the same day, he had a family wedding to attend. Interestingly, the wedding venue was very close to Pawan Kalyan’s camp office. Since he was already in that area, he decided to visit Pawan Kalyan and congratulate him for becoming the Deputy Chief Minister. After meeting him and offering his wishes, he returned to attend the wedding.

Ranganath expressed confusion about why people were misunderstanding this meeting. He said he did not expect such questions or doubts.

The anchor also asked whether the meeting had any political or caste-related discussion. In response, Ranganath said that there is nothing wrong if people from the BC community or SC community come together and discuss good things and in the same way their meeting was also not wrong. He explained that such discussions are normal and can be useful for society. However, he made it clear that his meeting with Pawan Kalyan was not based on any such agenda. He insisted that it was just a normal and casual meeting.

This issue gained attention because of a previous news report. A few days earlier, reports said that Ranganath had met Pawan Kalyan in Mangalagiri and discussed important topics like land issues, government policies, and HYDRA-related matters. That meeting reportedly lasted for about two hours, which raised many questions.

Because of that earlier report, people started linking both meetings and assumed there might be a deeper reason. This is why the anchor questioned him during the interview.
