Joining the row former England team captain Michael Vaughan made shocking comments. He said that the T20 World Cup schedule favoured India.
The reason he gave is that Afghanistan’s flight for the semis was delayed and with this the team could not get the enough time to practice which impacted the team’s performance.
It is known that Afghanistan, which reached its first Semi final, lost the match. South Africa dismantled the Afghanistan team for just 56 and chased the target by losing just one wicket.
Reacting to this Michael Vaughan said that the T20 World Cup schedule favoured India. Former Indian player and coach Ravi Shastri gave a strong response to the comments.
Ravi Shastri said that no one cares what Vaughan says. He observed that it would be good if the former captain thinks about England’s performance which was knocked out in the semi final.
Ravi Shastri even asked if Vaughan won any cup. Drawing a comparison between India and England, Ravi Shastri said that India has the habit of winning cups as it won four times and England won just two cups.
