It has become a trend almost that a section of movies are creating a sensation and becoming the talk of town. We have seen what happened with The Kashmir Files. The movie became a sleeper hit at the box office. However, the film led to a few objections from various corners. The Kerala Story also created a sensation.
Now it's the turn of the Razakar movie. The movie is based on the spine-chilling incidents that happened in the erstwhile Princely state of Hyderabad. Gudur Narayana Reddy bankrolled the film. However, he is said to have received threatening calls.
With this, the Union Government is said to have arranged a security. As the producer filed a complaint the Home Department allocated 1+1 CRPF security for him.
This is not the first time security has been allocated to film personalities. Earlier Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut was given security when the actress had a big fallout with the previous Maharashtra government.
The Razakar movie was released earlier last week in multiple languages. The movie has been a sensation even before its release. Former Telangana IT Minister KTR slammed the movie and earlier he said that he would not let the movie be released and raise tensions.
A few petitions were also filed in the High Court seeking a ban on the film. However, the film was given a green signal by the Court and created a way for the release. After the release, there were a few objections that the history was distorted for vested interests.
