The Hindu community got to celebrate your auspicious occasion of Maha Shivaratri on February 15, and this is a day of great pride and celebration to the entire community. But something detrimental happened in Telangana, which has triggered Hyderabad police commissioner Sajjanar.

Posting a video of a couple of individuals offering w*ed to Shiva idol on the occasion of Shivaratri, Sajjanar stated “Is making reels in front of God while displaying drugs the new way to become famous? Is this what people are willing to do for attention?”

Maha Shivaratri is a sacred festival that represents devotion, purity, and the path to spiritual freedom. On such a holy day, showing intoxicating substances in the name of divine offering is not bold or creative. It is deeply disrespectful and irresponsible. Calling it content or fun does not change the fact that it is a serious offense, the commissioner pointed out

Do you think this is an act of courage? It is not. It is a dangerous mistake that can destroy your future. If the NDPS Act is applied, the consequences are severe. A single reckless video made for likes and views can lead to criminal charges, arrest, and lifelong regret. For likes, do not forget your values.

For views, do not abandon your principles. For reels, do not ruin your reputation. For temporary excitement, do not sacrifice your golden future, the Hyderabad Police Commissioner said as he want everyone of serious consequences for such activities.

Social media should be a platform to showcase creativity and talent, not a gateway to addiction or unlawful behavior. Momentary fame is never worth permanent damage. Such actions will not be tolerated, and strict legal action will be taken against those responsible.
